-- VIEW GALLERY --

As part of the BOSA - Briefing on Soft Art project implemented by CIMO - Center for Research of Fashion and Clothing, a collaboration was established with visual artist Dino Zrnec, which resulted in a solo exhibition zrenez zernez zernetz whose opening was held on October 18, 2019 at 7 pm in Nikola Tesla Technical Museum in Zagreb.

With this project and exhibition program, the CIMO center focuses on contemporary art practices with the aim of questioning the concept of softness (traditionally associated with the field of textile art).

In the exhibition program, we present various visual art practices whose artistic positions fit into the questioning of the concept of softness with the aim of contextualizing this concept in the field of visual arts.

zrenez zernez zernetz is the first exhibition within the BoSA project created in production cooperation with the manufacturer of tufted carpets Regeneracija from Zabok.

From the text: Picture, pictures, picture

”Through the prism of this form of action in art, one can see the current artistic practice of Dino Zrnec, who through various media and procedures focuses, interrogates and re / creates the problem of painting today on the margins of its global dominance. By conceptualizing the new situation of the painting, which is limited by a certain artist's intention, Zrnec opens the space of the "image archive" and reveals the hidden effects of visual memory in both the collective imaginary and the individual imagination.
